If you know me you know that I am absolutely obsessed with the Olympics. I love everything about the Olympics, winter and summer, although I am partial to the summer because gymnastics is my favorite sport. I watch every single event I can, and I really hate to miss anything. The one thing I can say I do not like is how social media has changed how you watch the Olympics. Because the Olympics are held in different places all over the world, it’s not always in the same time zone that you are in. The events you see in primetime have actually happened almost 12 hours before. With social media being as big as it is, I happen to see results of events before they happen, which for me almost ruins it. I like to see what happens and to root for whom I want to win, but if I go and watch and already know the results it ruins the excitement.

I have been loving the leather trend this year; I try to find excuses to wear my leather pants all the time. I actually bought these pants for Christmas ’12 but I haven’t been able to figure out how to wear them until this fall. Now I can’t seem to stop wearing them. I believe a pair of converse is essential to any wardrobe. They’re such a classic and you have the ability to dress them up or down. This chambray shirt I bought from the Kendall&Kylie line last spring has become one of my go-to shirts this year and really livens up any closet. I find myself buying all my jewelry from BaubleBar lately, they make great quality bracelets and necklaces for a great price! Plus your monogram goes great with any outfit!

When I was younger I used to be so jealous of all the girls that wore glasses, it’s basically an additional accessory that you get to pick out and get excited about wearing. I guess I must have gotten a little too jealous because as of 4 years ago, I also get the pleasure of wearing glasses and of course now I wish I never wanted them.

After putting together my outfit I couldn’t help but feel like I just stepped out of the movie Grease! This weekend I’m visiting my boyfriend at UConn, where we found some cool spots to shoot. It has been absolutely freezing in New England for the past month, I mean the temperature hasn’t gotten higher than 30° all month, but when I walked outside this morning for breakfast it felt so warm! The sun was shining so bright and it was really warming us up on our walk. Unfortunately, the heat only lasted about an hour and then the temperature dropped again. I’m getting sick of wearing giant coats and snow/rain boots, so today I dressed against the weather.
