Divergent Cosmetics - Review & Swatches

I can easily say that I am obsessed with the Divergent series and no, not just the movie. I have read all of the books, which were amazing! If you haven’t already, I highly suggest reading them! Personally I like them a lot more than the Hunger Games series. Although the movie has a lot of changes from the book (but seriously what book turned movie isn’t) I still really liked it! But that could easily be due to the casting of Theo James as Four/Tobias.

Sephora released three different Divergent collections; Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette, Divergent 7-piece Nail Art Kit, & Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit. I bought both of the makeup palettes leaving the nail kit out because I didn’t think it was that great. The small kit is only $32.50 and the large kit is $59.50, both of these prices are absolutely amazing for the quality and the amount you get! Get your hands on them here!

The Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette is a smaller everyday everything you need palette. It has three eye shadows perfect for an everyday eye to a smokey eye. It also contains a blush and bronzer along with a lip gloss.

From left to right:
Eyeshadows: Candor Lace, Luminous Taupe, Envious chocolate
Blush: Rosy Horizon
Bronzer: Compassionate Copper
Lipgloss: Artistic Mauve

The Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit is the mother load! It comes with three different eye shadow palette representing three different factions: Abnegation, Dauntless, & Erudite. It has four different lip glosses.  There is a face palette that includes two blushes, a highlighter, and a bronzer. It also has a double ended brush, one side for the face and one side for eyes.

Abnegation Palette:
From left to right: Transform, Bold Espresso, Intrepid Moss, Golden Honesty, Altruistic Almond

Dauntless Palette:
From left to right: Diverge, Dauntless Ink, Abnegation Stone, Erudite Sapphire, Serene Vanilla

Erudite Palette:
From left to right: Choose, Burnt Mahogany, Radiant Initiation, Peaceful Shimmer, Humble Sheen

Face Palette:
From left to right: Obscure Coral, Misty Rose, Gleaming Pearl, Intelligent Bronze

Lip Glosses:
From Left to right: Fear Not, Natural Virtue, Supreme Ritual, Temptation’s Choice

Overall I absolutely love both of these palettes and I recommend both of them! I keep the small one in my purse for everyday use and touch ups throughout the day. The large one is definitely a collectors kit, it's not for everyone.

Let me know what palette or faction palette you like the best!
Also let me know what faction palette you'd like me to do a tutorial on!
