Things I've Learned in the Past Year

Always keep a water in your bag or car, it keeps you hydrated but also helps keep you away from the sugary sodas

If you're texting someone and you're nervous about what you just typed, press the send button. You wrote it for a reason, don't be afraid of what the other person will say.

Always keep a change of clothes in your car, including shoes, you never know when you'll need it.

Plan out your days with friends, that way you won't spend hours asking "What do you want to do today?"

Don't forget to tell people how much they mean to you.

You can never over pack, pack as much as you want. You'll be glad to have options.

Take plenty of pictures. Take that picture of the gorgeous sunset, your delicious food, your adorable dog, and your beautiful self. Don't be ashamed of taking that selfie, be proud of yourself. It's great scrolling through your pictures and being reminded of a great time.

Wear whatever you want, don't think about what others will say. If you like something, wear it and own it!

Always say yes to dessert, seriously you deserve that piece of cake...and ice cream.

It's okay to be sad, but don't forget about what makes you happy.

Set a monthly goal for yourself and stick to it.

People will hurt you and you will hurt people, but learn to apologize and learn to forgive.

And lastly, your dreams matter. Don't set them aside because they seem unrealistic. You will never know unless you give them a chance.
