101 Things in 1001 Days *Update*

Last January I started the "101 Things in 1001 Days" task and I'm glad to see I have a good amount completed in one year! Although I could do more, I'm happy with how much I got done! I think this is a great way to have a solid amount of goals while giving yourself a good amount of time and leeway with completing them. I encourage you all to create a list for yourself!

As of January 2015 I have completed 20 goals!

  1. Come up with 101 goals (January 2014)
  2. Get someone else to come up with 101 goals
  3. Donate to a cause I’m really passionate about
  4. Donate blood
  5. Reconnect with an old dance teacher
  6. Read 3 classic novels
  7. Go 1 month without take out
  8. Go 1 month without shopping
  9. Go to bed by 10 PM every night for a week (October 2014)
  10. Wake up at 5 AM every morning for a week (April 2014)
  11. Unplug for 24 hours (no Internet, phone, television, etc.)
  12. Learn how to tie a tie
  13. Learn how to tie a bow tie
  14. Unsubscribe from all unwanted emails (January 2014)
  15. Buy Photoshop
  16. Attend a Blogshop class
  17. Start a YouTube beauty channel (October 2014)
  18. Go ice skating and teach Nicholas
  19. Learn how to snowboard
  20. Send flowers to my mom for no reason
  21. Go on a run with my dad
  22. Bake bonnie butter cake with Grandma Lu
  23. Make my mom breakfast in bed
  24. Spend a whole day with my sister (November 2014)
  25. Try out 10 new restaurants
  26. Visit a museum
  27. Visit 2 different zoos (1) Central Park Zoo (June 2014)
  28. Redecorate/design my room (August 2014)
  29. Take a vacation with the girlfriends
  30. Leave a 100% tip for great service
  31. See a Broadway play
  32. Wake up early enough to see the sunrise (August 2014)
  33. Spend a night sleeping under the stars
  34. Go to an amusement park
  35. Learn to open a bottle of wine/champagne (April 2014)
  36. Go to an old fashion drive in
  37. Go to an NBA game
  38. Go to an NFL game
  39. Go to a Red Sox game
  40. Go to Boston for the day
  41. Run a 5k
  42. Watch the entire series of Friends (Started January 2014)
  43. Go to Newport for the day
  44. Go a month without junk food/soda
  45. Go a month without candy
  46. Volunteer at an animal shelter
  47. Travel to a new state (May 2014) (Alaska)
  48. Travel to a new country (March 2014) (Bahamas)
  49. Travel to a new continent
  50. Visit with long lost relatives (June 2014)
  51. Visit my family in SC
  52. Go to mini golf with my family
  53. Have a complete “ME” day
  54. Take myself out to a nice lunch
  55. Visit a botanical garden
  56. Buy a plant and actually keep it living
  57. Read a biography
  58. Completely go through my closet (donate, sell, trash) (April 2014)
  59. Drink 8 glasses of water every day for a week
  60. Re-read all the Harry Potter books
  61. Work out with a personal trainer
  62. Send out Christmas cards
  63. See a Cirque show
  64. Make an address book with all family contacts
  65. Take a self-defense class
  66. Get a facial
  67. Throw a surprise party
  68. Find my perfect cocktail (Summer 2014)
  69. Go zip-lining
  70. Have a picnic
  71. Watch five Audrey Hepburn movies
  72. Go camping
  73. Take a workshop on something I’m really interested in
  74. Go for a hike with the dogs
  75. Take a road trip with my friends
  76. Find my perfect skincare routine (December 2014)
  77. Define my style
  78. Connect with another blogger (July 2014)
  79. Surprise my coworkers with coffee and bagels
  80. Have a bonfire and cookout with old and new friends
  81. Eat the recommended servings of vegetables every day for a week
  82. Go fishing
  83. Go on a bike ride
  84. Pay off my student loans
  85. Move into my first apartment
  86. Invest in a great handbag
  87. Go to the gym twice a week for 3 months
  88. Watch all the Star Wars movies in one weekend
  89. Eat an entire Chinese meal with chopsticks (April 2014)
  90. Get a massage (April 2014)
  91. Take a cooking class
  92. Have my teeth whitened (August 2014)
  93. Get another tattoo
  94. Take a class on photography
  95. Plan a trip to volunteer at an animal sanctuary
  96. Go back full time to school
  97. Figure out exactly what I want to major in
  98. Plan a surprise date night
  99. Buy the people I love something they’ll really be happy with
  100. Get hired on full time (Got a new job) (August 2014)
  101. Put $10 in savings for every goal completed

    what an awesome list! I LOVE this idea - I'd love to try something like this some time and keep track of the ones I accomplish. (I secretly love crossing things off a list!)

  5. Ugh, I really need to get on the unsubscribing bandwagon. It's so easy for me to just hit delete every time but I know it would be easier in the long run to unsubscribe! That's going to be one of my February goals :)
